Virginia King

Virginia King creates work from an extensive selection of materials addressing issues of ecology and survival and the delicate balance between sustainability and progress.

Other site-specific sculpture includes Koru, Brick Bay, Rewarewa Creek Footbridge, Waitakere City, and Aramarama Millennium Footbridge, Auckland.

King completed Reed Vessel in 2004, an interactive sculpture installed in Docklands Park, Melbourne and was commissioned in 2007 to create the David Lange National Memorial in Otahuhu.
