Cathryn Monro

Cathryn Monro was born in Whangarei. She has been working as an artist since obtaining her Bachelor of Fine Arts in sculpture from Elam School of Fine Arts in 1989.

Since then she has exhibited regularly in group and solo shows throughout New Zealand.

Cathryn Monro has produced private and public commissions including large-scale projects for the Auckland City Council amenities refurbishment scheme, Per Capita in weathering steel for the Wellington Sculpture Trust and a large private farmland installation.
